Fees are troublesome when not discussed and clearly understood. We have a variety of fee structures to solve almost any problem.

Usually, accident cases and will contests are handled on a contingent fee arrangement. If you need heirs rights advocacy or have been injured in a truck or automobile accident, contact us.

If your business is facing high-stakes litigation, you may be pleased to hear that we offer result-oriented fees.

Depending on what our clients want, we have always offered straight Hourly Fees and a Contract rate.

What You Should Expect

We made a promise that we'd offer clients our compensation package in writing so that everyone can relax and get to work. You should expect to have a written fee agreement with us. It's one way we can continue to offer reasonable fees to our clients.

Contingent Fees

If you're the Plaintiff (the one bringing suit) Fogg, Fogg & Handley offers a contingency fee arrangement that has worked for years. The first consultation is free and no financial investment is required to retain the lawyer. Frankly, most people can't afford to retain a top attorney up-front. The American legal system allows attorneys to provide services for a percentage of the recovery, after expenses.

The law does require you to pay the out-of-pocket expenses, such as costs of records, depositions, expert witnesses and court fees. These costs are deducted from your recovery amount. You are expected to make a substantial investment of your time and commitment.

Result-Oriented Fees

Business people often fear litigation because of the "money pit" perception: the fear that legal fees will grow so large that they'll be forced into a settlement, right or wrong, to "cut their losses."

We can arrange compensation based on outcome. So you don't have to fear spending more than the case is worth.

Hourly Fees

We keep meticulous time records and bill our hourly rate clients on a monthly basis. Retainers help fund the initial charges of the work in progress. The rates for our work depend on the professions who's dealing with the file at the time. Of course each activity is supervised by your attorney.

Contract Fees

Sometimes people want to know what a matter is going to cost before we begin. A daunting task faces an attorney faced with this problem. No one knows what activity a file is going to demand. However, on occasion, we have tried to place a value for professional services on a file on a contract basis. Numbers arrived at in these circumstances cannot appraise the result obtained, nor the amount of effort actually devoted to your matter. We mention it because, we have done it when requested.
